The depiction of the Egyptians in the series was so… odd and inaccurate, but I adored it anyway.

I don’t know why they did this. Imagine you are watching a civil war drama, it’s 25 hours long, and it’s an epic story of war and love, etc. And the whole time, you’re building up to the battle of Antietam or whatever, and when your main characters meet up, finally, with Confederate troops, they are wearing sequened red hotpants and jetpacks. WTF.
