I was reminded tonight of how nerdy I actually am:

-I’ve studied Elvish at a University

-I watched professional wrestling for years

-I love going to Ren Fairs

-I enjoy playing Magic the Gathering

-I played both Final Fantasy XI and World of Warcraft

-I have dated two men who owned swords;  wait, not just owned them, I think both won them in Magic competitions

That’s right. The first point is really where you beat me, haha.

And Magic!  I can’t believe you’ve never played Magic!  (Actually, it’s really fun, and if you ever want to play, I’m totally in.)

Nerd list:

• Have seen every ep of the first four Star Trek series (everything but Enterprise).
• Wrote a 15-pg essay about how Godzilla reflected the contemporary Japanese zeitgeist.
• Studied fucking hieroglyphs.
• Read Dune about 20 times.
• Played WoW
• Played FF7 for over 99hrs and FFX for BLITZBALL
• I am constantly being asked to fix people’s computers
• Went to a student’s Classics Conference in high school, winning best Latin Recitation.
• Have about 40 TTC lecture series for my mp3 player
• I will watch “The Quick and the Dead” and “Tombstone” any time I catch them on cable. But no other Western. I refuse to watch any other movie set in the old West.
